Going for broke…

I decide I want to try to earn honors for my graduation. The requirement is 50 hours at Illinois State University and there are several different honors depending on the GPA. I am shooting for summa cum laude, which is for 3.90 – 4.00 GPA. To do this I have had to add more classes to this semester. Here is my current schedule:

BSC101 – 3 – Concepts of Biology GEO135 – 3 – World Geography MAT341 – 3 – Differential Equations II PHY270 – 1 – Experimental Physics PHY290 – 2 – Physics Research PHY384 – 3 – Quantum Mechanics II PHY387 – 3 – Mathematical Physics PHY390 – 2 – Computational Research

For a grand total 20 hours! Not only that but 270 is notoriously time-consuming. This puts me at 53 hours at Illinois State University so I have room to drop one class, but I am hoping I don’t have too because I either need them or want to take them.
